Blackberry No Longer Produce BB 10

Blackberry 10 Series

BlackBerry has admitted defeat in the smartphone market for the consumer. To get around his defeat, they claimed will no longer produce a smartphone with an operating system BB10.
This was said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) BlackBerry, John Chen in an interview with The National. Chen said the company will concentrate to rise into the largest provider of Android devices.
"We will continue BB10 only for users who are still there. At least, for at least two years. Furthermore, there is no operating system on it," said Chen, quoted from Pocket-lint, Friday, April 15, 2016.
Chen stressed that the BlackBerry will continue to produce handsets, but only in terms of the Android operating system. However, the move was not aimed at users in the consumer, but also for the company (enterprise) alias to upper-middle.
Learning from the emergence of BlackBerry Priv, aimed at the enterprise segment and expensive, Chen also said he would not repeat the same mistakes. Therefore, the BlackBerry as much as possible will reduce the price of the latest BlackBerry Android variant later.
"The fact that we bring upscale smartphones are expensive, as the first Android us. It was indeed we should not have done. It is not wise. Many consumer companies that say, 'I want to buy your phone, but Rp 8 million it was very expensive. We are more interested with a device costing less than Rp5 million ', "said Chen.
In addition to lowering prices, said Chen, BlackBerry will concentrate on Android devices for business people, not to play.
"We will be the only one who has the most secure Android, bringing BlackBerry security features to the device in order to reach a wider market," said Chen.
